GREEN CONCEPTS VOLUNTEERS LEND A CLEANING HAND
ECO CONCEPTS, INC. executives volunteered to help rid Minneapolis of Graffiti. In doing so, they were able to field test their “new” GREEN CONCEPTS Graffiti Remover #10 on the streets of Minneapolis. The GREEN CONCEPTS Graffiti Remover #10 (GR) is a unique development in the ongoing struggle to remove paint, ink, permanent marker and unwanted graffiti from a variety of surfaces. Unlike traditional graffiti removers, GR releases far less VOCs in the atmosphere and it is much safer for the user. Undiluted, GR will penetrate and remove graffiti from porous surfaces such as brick, stone or concrete. Angela Brenny and her team at the Minneapolis Waste and Recycling Department led the well-organized event called ‘Graffiti Brush-Off’. Many notable city officials, departments and affiliates volunteered their services including the Mayor of Minneapolis, local and district Fire Houses, City Attorney’s Office, City Coordinator, City Council, Civil Rights, Finance, Human Resources, Police, Public Works, Unisys, etc. The volunteers started out at their designated fire house where they were given a graffiti cleaning kit, which contained all of the necessary cleaning equipment and solutions, as well as color coordinated paint and brushes.
